I've got a few new players on the team this year and for practice we're trying to give everyone badges. They work great and have reinforced stitching on the collar and sleeves. The fluorescent yellow color is highly visible and can usually be distinguished from the shirts and jerseys commonly worn by players. Great for children up to 8 years old. My daughter is U10 so this is probably a good max range for a teen size. Some thread loosening occurs over time (plus a year).

I use these for my 6-8 year old boys, they are not too big and fit even the tallest boy (8 year old, 100lbs, about 4ft tall) I've heard of kids Swimming in BIG caps with holes for the arms or neck that are too big I would say that's your answer, I dare say they are suitable for children from 5 to 10 years old.
