Very synthetic odour. I didn't like these aromatic oils. I've used several of these in candles and the smell is too chemical.

Okay let me start my review by saying I bought these for candle making. When I sniffed them out of the bottle, apple pie, hot chocolate, and coffee mocha smelled good. I didn't like leather at all, and brown sugar and coffee cake smelled the same way. First I decided to make mocha candles. I made two 8oz candles out of a bottle. Well, I only liked 2 of the 6 fragrances offered in this fragrance oil box. Hot chocolate smells just like opening a packet of Nestle hot chocolate, and brown sugar, with its wonderful buttery flavor, was my favorite. The other four scents were either VERY generic and artificial or just not what I wanted to smell like (skin? really boys?). I'm a therapist and I wanted to make sure that the fragrances for my therapy practice weren't predominantly herbal (stereotypical aromatherapy fragrances).
