I got this product for my 39 foot 5. ordered and received.

I ordered and received this product for my 39ft fifth wheel with leaf spring tandem axles. It did not work. Called the manufacturer (Camco) and they said it wouldn't work on leaf spring suspension (which 98% of most trailers do). This is said to ONLY work on TORSION-TYPE suspensions. ***I wish they had mentioned this in the product description.****

Plus provides the extra lift I need for my RV

I borrowed a trailer assist from a friend to change a tire on my RV. The original model didn't raise the camper high enough to get the bad wheel off the ground so I had to use a 2x6 underneath to get some clearance. I ordered the Plus model and the tire clears without an extra lift. I have 18" wheels on my RV with independent leaf suspension. This product makes lifting the trailer to change tires easier!

Will not work for tandem suspension saddle wheels

With leaf spring suspension for Trailer Aid Plus axles cannot lift the front wheel high enough to remove the flat tire behind it. and replaced with a spare part. So I tried using plastic stabilizer blocks to get it high enough for ground clearance and the Trailer Aide Plus just broke. Mind you, my 5th wheel only weighed about 10,000 pounds. that day and only had to carry half that weight. Reportedly, Aid Plus costs Β£15,000. Fortunately, a bottle jack was also available for the job. Great…

USELESS AND NOT WORKING

Bought a while ago just in case my trailer gets stuck in an apartment somewhere. It happened and I had to change a wheel at the side of the road. sooo I do exactly what I'm supposed to do, roll my good wheel on it to get the wheel I need to change airborne. The problem was that ramp was too low and couldn't lift the wheel I had to change high enough. Long story short, I had to call my AAA to find a jack good enough to save me (I couldn't use a jack because that would be sketchy), so just a…

This item is not tall enough to replace a flat tire on your motorhome. We live in Montana near Yellowstone National Park. We hike to the Hebgensee several times a year. On the way home, about 10 miles from our house, we had a stroke. We pulled the chock out of the basement of our 36 foot RV, pulled the chock up, then removed the blown tire. Luckily we also have an electricity connection that we carry with us. We were able to remove the flat tire with no problem. Unfortunately, the wedge does…

Good idea but BIG failure

This is a really good concept. The problem is that it's not high enough to lift the wheel off the ground. I tried on flat road and with a lot of effort I was able to remove the tyre. Well, fast forward to 2 days ago when I actually had an apartment on the Autobahn. With no choice but to partially land on the gravel shoulder, the tire did not climb high enough to remove the punctured tire. Luckily I ended up with a 2x6 board which I put underneath and was barely able to change the tire. It's…

The stated weight does not hold.

I had an apartment and was trying to use it. On arrival at the ramp it broke, the top of the ramp was crumpled, I had to stop, I only had a comb left. So I went and weighed the trailer after we changed the tire to make sure it wasn't too heavy for this product. I was 3200 pounds lighter than the total trailer weight. It's not usually like Camco, they usually have a better product than this. I have many of their products. Since this product didn't work, I had to hire someone to bring me a big…

So glad I discovered this product.

Recently I was visiting my relatives and there was a guy who was doing the demolition for them. I happened to notice that one of the tires on his trailer was actually flat. I let him know and as he started removing the tire from the two axle trailer I pulled out this device. I've never seen anything like it, but mounting or dismounting tires on two-axle trailers has become a breeze. By pulling the trailer up and over that ramp and placing a good wheel in the notch, the trailer will remain…
