The light didn't work - lighting

Received the light today and hooked it up to the van but when I pushed the switch nothing happened. I checked the wires and I had enough power but the light didn't work. I have replacements on the way, hope it won't be a dud! I'll edit this later when I stop the replacement if it works.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Good but not great

MUCH BRIGHTER than the standard light I removed.

When I removed the old (2005) stock bracket, there was an about 2 inch hole protected by caulking around the bracket. brand new, i filled the hole with stuffing and lots of silicon sealant in the hole. Because the device is sealed and autonomous. You might want to have a piece of colored pencil handy when you start.

No, just the same old Chinese junk. Of course I didn't keep the packaging for the return, so it's my fault. My advice: buy cheaper devices, how much worse can the defective 33% be, right? We've become desensitized to Chinese junk that 33% junk doesn't sound so awful anymore! ***Update, about a week after posting 2 out of 3…

  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Mounts where the sun shines brightly. So I have no idea when the coyotes will come out when I see them. i will follow My holes didn't match, but came with matching screws. It will be necessary to seal if it is not so hot in the morning. But it looks like everything will be fine. Update Date: I turned on the light last night and was very happy with the lighting. From 30 to 40 feet from the structure I had excellent light. The dogs felt comfortable rolling on the grass. I could see the details so

Poor product quality and design

Item received as expected. I took the product out of the box and immediately set about installing it. There were no problems with the wiring. I connected the cables according to the instructions on the back of the unit and everything was fine in good bright light. Connecting the wires with the included wire nuts resulted in an installation that wasn't flush with the side of the RV. I stripped off another wire and twisted the two ends very tight and secured them with tape. The holes in the new…
