Does exactly what a "raincoat " is supposed to do.

First of all, I've been dealing with radio and electronics for over 60 years, both as a hobby and as a job. This is a simple little device that does exactly what I need it to do. In short, I mounted a Diamond NMO (2M/440) dual band antenna on the canopy of my Ford F150 "Screw" (Super Crew). Every time I want to drive it through a car wash, the antenna has to be removed leaving the NMO mount exposed. Worth every penny.

The raincoat arrived on time and well packaged. Used this on my roof antenna and there were no leaks. Used it in heavy rain and 70m/s wind. Installation couldn't be easier. A must for anyone who wants to use their roof rack. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Pros
  • Antennas
Cons
  • Some little things

Make your car look "normal " again.

Perfect for covering the NMO antenna mount because your wife won't stop talking about how the family car looks like a police car and why you can't have NORMAL hobbies like browsing sports or going to a bar ? Why do antennas have to be everywhere? So yeah, it works fine for that.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • boring packaging

Don't expect much for your money.

It goes without saying that assembly is easy, you just have to screw it on. It's plastic, but I wouldn't call it durable. The downside of this raincoat is the O-ring. Complete garbage. Doesn't go in the groove, doesn't stay in the groove, not thick enough to be proud of the groove (sticks out far enough to form a good seal). And when you take off the rain cap, the o-ring just falls out, making it difficult to keep track of in A$$ when it's not on the mount. Finding the right o-ring size for the
