Made from steel. Features increased oil capacity for improved bearing life and engine durability. Includes a magnetic drain plug with a brass washer, windage screens along with crankshaft scrapers. Removes excess oil from the crankshaft. Reduces air bubbles in the engine oil to improve lubricating properties.

Good quality frying pan. Although not the best finish. Not suitable for nv3500 without amazing work.

I ordered this pan for a 1991 4WD S10 which I am replacing with an early 70's 4 bolt Basic 350. First, let me say that I haven't installed an engine on my truck yet. But the oil pan is now installed on my engine. First of all this kit includes an oil pickup tube and it is a beautiful very well made piece. I used a Melling M55 oil pump. And it fits perfectly. As for the pan, the pads that come with it are of pretty good quality, they're neither cork nor rubber, they almost feel like compressed…
