Unreliable in my Canon 5d mk IV and mk III

I've had two 64GB versions of this card for a few years. They regularly cause problems in both my Canon 5d mk IV and my assistant's mk IV and mk III. When inserting, the camera says it can't access the card. Sometimes re-plugging works, sometimes you have to re-plug multiple times. Worst when the camera lost access to that card in the middle of work. Both cards show the same behavior with the cameras mentioned. Reformatting in camera, low-level formatting in camera, and reformatting on myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Supports recordable media content protection (CPRM)
Cons
  • Not the best

The memory card stopped working after 2-3 uses.

I bought a Transcend 64GB for my Nikon DSLR. I liked it - it was fast and included a lot of my photos. I was so happy I ordered another one. However, this second card no longer works and cannot be read by my camera. Thank god I didn't take a lot of shots in one session - I lost about 10. When I emailed Transcend about this issue, they told me to return the item. I will, but honestly I feel like they should send me a new one due to a card issue. I've had the card less than a month, I've onlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Supports Ultra High Speed Class 1 (U1) specification
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good card, but not as fast as advertised.

After using H2TESTW (free SD/USB tester - google it) to test the capacity and speed of the card, I can say that it is indeed a 32GB card and not fake. But 90MB/s? Do not make me laugh. The maximum write speed is 21.3MB/s, and when using an SD card in the camera, the write speed is crucial. The fastest I could read from the card was 56.1 MB/s - not bad at all. Great when copying photos/videos from a card to a computer. However, still nowhere near 90 MB/s. Because it can only write at 21MB/sโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Suitable for SDHC/SDXC compatible devices
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Very pleasantly surprised. Top class product.

I purchased this product because I needed to increase the capacity of a recently purchased Ultrabook that only came with a 128GB SSD. This card effectively doubles the storage capacity available on my computer and alleviates the potential issue of running out of available storage space. I was surprised that the card seems to be almost as fast as an SSD drive. Both are flash but I expected the SSD to be much faster than the card. However, this does not appear to be the case. I am using this card

Pros
  • Fully SD 3.01 Compatible
Cons
  • ---

Works fine with GH4 4K quality

I have been using transcend for several years now. I've used CF cards for cameras like the 5D MK II and 7D MK II. In the past few years I've shot about 72 events like weddings or Sweet 15s, not counting side jobs. I usually pad 2 32GB CF cards per event per camera. All under the Transcend brand. I recently switched my camera setup to a Panasonic GH4 and they use cards like this. So far I've only shot 2 events with this card and the GH4 in 4K UHD quality. I just have to say that they think it'sโ€ฆ
