Heavy Duty Speaker Stand

Wood had scratches from processing, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Very strong stand. Not very difficult to set up. I filled the frame with washed and tested (to prevent rust) pebbles for greater resonant resistance.

Pros
  • Made of tempered glass with bevelled edges, thick steel with a gloss black finish and solid hardwood with a dark oak finish;
Cons
  • Not as good as stated

Overrated junk is best in speaker stands

Overpriced cheap piece of Chinese junk. The wood had unpainted areas from the factory and in many places the light areas had to be repainted. The screw holes for the top plates did not match and had to be changed. The bottom mounting hole in the glass base is MUCH too big for the screw to allow movement once tightened and the "cable management" was 2 velcro straps that attach to the back of the stand and don't hide the cable unless it is because, the cable is threaded size. Don't waste your…

Pros
  • Integrated cable management system; The kit includes cleated feet to protect the wooden floor;
Cons
  • too stupid

Cute coasters but with some design flaws

The coasters look very nice and for the most part the components are solidly assembled but the iron construction leaves a bit to be desired. The biggest issue is that there is only one bottom mounting screw and the hole in the glass is too big for it making it a terrible fit allowing the rack to move/rotate. I solved the problem with a pair of 3/4" x 3/8" nylon bushings I bought at a local hardware store. They hold the bolt in the center of the big hole (and really should have been included in…

Pros
  • Dimensions: 30″H x 10″W x 12″D
Cons
  • Expandable

Attractive speaker stands, but a bit pricey! But money well spent!

Very nice furniture-like speaker stands, as I said, a bit expensive but worth it compared to a steel stand. This gives the living room a "more finished" look for our surround sound system. The only negative I can give them is that there is no space for speaker wiring, something hidden? I had to fantasize a bit, but they turned out beautifully and very unobtrusively. Before that we had stands with steel poles, I can't blame them, they worked for us for a long time, we just wanted to go one step…

Pros
  • RTA design, easy assembly; Available in dark oak/black;
Cons
  • Available in black only.

The stands look very nice but have a few design flaws

The shelves look very nice but there are a few design flaws. First the bottom post is fixed with only one screw, it needs to be in a horizontal position with two screws so it doesn't roll on the plate. Second, the holes on the top plate don't line up exactly so it doesn't fit all the way to the top of the stand, and the screws don't fit flush into the plate, causing them to stand up and scratch your speakers. The powerpads aren't big enough to prevent the screws from hitting the bottom of your…

Pros
  • Sold as a pair.
Cons
  • Not sure
