The seller did not say that the product requires expensive programming at the dealer, and the dealer cannot promise that the aftermarket parts will program successfully at all! Stay away from this product!

If you need a spare key, buy it, ask the hardware store to cut it and then the key will come with instructions on how to program it onto your ignition. I don't know what I would pay the dealer for it.

Saved $80. That's how much a key costs in a hardware store. The first store I visited didn't suit me. So I called random hardware stores until they said yes. They charged me $2.

Didn't work on my aunt's van but there may have been other issues with her van that caused the key to not work. Maybe it could be programmed and work if there weren't other issues with their van.

Nothing beats it. I ordered 2 and was able to cut them for 50 cents each at my local hardware store (where they charge $20 for these blanks). Programming the key took literally seconds using the onboard instructions, but YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE A GOOD KEY to program a new key yourself, otherwise you may need to program it at the dealer. Would buy again. Now I have spare car keys again. I had one for both cars.
