Easy install, each took less than a minute. Feels secure underfoot. I installed mine in my basement. Not sure how to wear them in the elements?

They were needed in a new house with lots of steps in and out of the rooms. Our dog is old and had difficulty going up and down these steps. Non-slip strips are already helping him to hold on to the steps. Barefoot they are a bit rough but very tolerant. The roller included in the kit makes it very easy to apply the adhesive without wrinkles or bubbles.

Update within 1 year. After using these traction straps on my trailer for a year in all of Minnesota's extreme temperatures and weather conditions, I am pleased to report that all of the straps are holding up tight. This is even more surprising to me considering the ramp is closed and vertical 99.9% of the time. Thus almost always the entire weight of the tapes is pressing on their adhesive.
