Tungsten Caride Tipped Counter bore with pilot drill for recessing into wood and wood based materials including particleboard, plywood and MDF. Allows for bolt and screw heads to be set below the surface of the workpiece and capped over with a corresponding plug to hide them. Ideal for use on hardwoods and areas where clear finishes are applied to provide professional results once matching plugs are fitted. Drill length can be adjusted for different screw lengths using the supplied hex key.

Great Tool for Counterboring

Using this product, our team found that it has excellent performance especially WITH its solid and well-built structure. However, it can be a bit costly compared with other counterboring tools in the market..

Cheap and fragile.

Broken after 8-10 shallow cuts in aluminum. Whatever the case, it's performed fairly well up to this point, but if you're looking for a durable tool, this isn't it.
