Not officially supported, but works with Vive Wireless Adapter!

Works great to make this super short Vive wireless cable almost 2x longer, I'm amazed HTC didn't make it longer at all! Not officially supported by TrendNET but works fine for me.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Some trouble

Works great with the Vive wireless adapter (WiGig)

I added this as an extension to the wireless cable that came with it and it works great, no problem. My PC is in a different room than my gaming area, so placing the sensor in the best spot helped a lot.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Available in white only

Difficult but proven for Vive Wireless

Definitely helped expand the capabilities of Vive Wireless. But there are some problems with Intel wireless card drivers and this cable. It works, but requires some fanaticism. I think the card is looking for a very specific impedance that cannot be matched with a longer cable. Although it works.

Pros
  • Gratifying
Cons
  • A number of factors

Used this cable with HTC Vive Wireless Adapter - works great

I bought this cable as a recommendation to increase the range of the WiGig antenna when using the HTC Wireless Adapter for Vive. All the posts were about how finicky it is and often the extension cord doesn't work, but this cord was suggested as the right one. It works great for me and gave me the extra coverage I needed.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Appearance

Works with vive wireless

I bought vive wireless and the cable that came with it is a joke. Seriously, I just had to return it in viva, it's so pathetically short. Instead I bought this one and it works. I had no problem using this Vive wireless adapter to make the cable longer.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • too dumb

For HTV Vive Wireless Extension Cable

I used the HTC Vive wireless adapter for my antenna. I bought one from a local store but it didn't have "specs", "ohms" or anything written on it. THIS, TEW-L102 (6ft), works PERFECTLY for a wireless card. I pulled it out of the bedroom through the crack in the door, around the wall and about waist high. The HTC Vive wireless antenna inserts directly into the other end and rises to a height of 7 feet where it sits above the VR gaming area. I've never had any problems with this cable. The signal

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Minor issues
