💡 Trickle Star 182SP-US-12XX 12 Outlet Surge Protector with 4320 Joules of Protection Review

We had 4 power adapters that were blocking 2-3 outlets (each) on our old power strip. Plus 5 items that only used 1 outlet each. So we needed 15 outlets (3 extension cords) before. Trickle Star does it all with 1 expansion. Neat, clean, simple, safe. Designing a great extension cord is very simple. Why are 99% of them stupidly designed? It would be even better with 1-2 USB outputs, further eliminating the need for power adapters. I also wish the mounting holes were accessible from the front…

Love everything about it! Compact 12 3-pin sockets, 4320J protection Well built, sleek design, very practical. Because it's wider than I thought. The fault lies in my perception. Twelve sockets with three pins cannot be accommodated in a thin housing. As for the bright lights, I like them. But since I have a surge protector under my bed I can't see them and they certainly don't bother me at night.

Looks like a good product but unfortunately I don't have much confidence as it's another Chinese made product. I bought it because the manufacturer's website said it was GSA compliant (not made in China). But when it was delivered, the first thing that struck me was "Made in China". Disappointed and can return this and pay a lot more for a product made in the US or Mexico.
