Works great, but not for a 1500W device.

I bought three of these to use at work for our computers just to plug in portable electric heaters so they don't accidentally leave them on when we leave the office. The heaters have a maximum power of 1500 watts. This power strip will not turn on the heater at high power, but works great at a lower setting (750W). Luckily for the rooms we use them for, this is sufficient.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • disappears

Does what it's supposed to do

works well, i like that the outlets are separate as some are on full power all the time and some are on the motion sensor. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • doubtful

Not just a motion sensor

Works well. The only thing that let me down was that something had to be plugged into the black socket (bottom left of picture) to control the firing function of the four sensor outputs on the bottom row. It's not just a motion sensor, it's both. I would have preferred just a motion sensor like my older ones (not that brand).

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not the best

Only works in combination with a TV

The description of this product does not indicate an important feature that prevents the effective use of sockets with motion sensors: it only works when the control socket is connected to the TV. and this tv is on. This renders these jacks unusable in non-audio/video applications. If you want to use this to turn on the light in a room when you enter the room or in my case provide protection against turning off things like irons that you might forget to turn off when not in use, works not this…

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Not at all suitable for extension cords and surge protectors

not suitable at all. They need a "connected source," which contradicts most people's goals of conserving energy. We tried using large LED monitors as a source which meant we had to add an extension cable to connect 2 LCD panels. This device turns on and off at unusual times. not very good at all

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • suitable

Now works best in power strips

After hearing from the sellers I have to retract my previous review which was negative. Extension cords are installed and working as expected. I'm happy with how they work. I hope to save on my energy bills by not always having things on.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • I won't say anything
