No danger. - Blinker

The relay is used to reduce hyperflash; However, it still flashes faster than the default speed, but slowly enough not to bother me. Lost the ability to use hazards. Not exactly sure - I have the old relay on hand just in case. I will keep searching for the best solution for Hyperflash. I personally do not recommend anyone to buy this. It does half the job it's supposed to do, and even the part it works on (the turn signals) does half of it.

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Volume

Worked as advertised and got Hyperflash for LED bulbs.

Switching to LED bulbs on my car. The stock flasher needed more load so there was no hyperflash. This stated that he worked with old light bulbs and new LED light bulbs. Works well of course. The only problem is that it doesn't have a factory clip to attach it to the mount. There's nothing a zip tie can't fix, and since it's supposed to hold the car up and you can't see it behind the dash, no big deal. Revain is much cheaper and Prime is free in 2 days.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • No paint required

Parts Flashing Turn Signals

Although Revain doesn't say it will fit my car (Saturn SL2 2002) another auto parts website showed that EP28 will fit but it was cheaper here (and Prime Shipping too). I used it to replace Saturn (GM) part 01999354. It doesn't have the locking lug on the side like the original part, but other than that it fits well. I connected it and it works. I may have to come up with another method of securing it so it doesn't vibrate, which may be why Revain doesn't list it as an exact replacement.

Great for my LED conversion

I installed this turn signal on my 2001 Grand Prix so I could use LED bulbs for my turn signals without the "hyper flash" and it worked. Now to get this turn signal to match the stock turn signal I had to take out the guts of the stock turn signal and replace the ep28 turn signal. It fits into the old turn signal housing so you can hang it back in place under the dash for a standard installation. Otherwise it uses the same style of fork and can be secured with a zip tie or two. Much simpler…

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • Everything is great

After replacing the tail light with a newer LED I experienced hyper/fast flashing as LEDs use less power than regular ones Lightbulbs. One option would be to install a load balancer (the 6 ohm parallel resistors they sell). I was concerned about the warning on load balancers that said the resistor should be placed against metal for safety as they get hot. This product seemed like the best solution and I'm really glad I went this route as I didn't have to replace the resistor. other bulbs that…

Pros
  • Worth your money
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good improvement over OEM

I replaced my original GM turn signal in a 2003 Sonoma pickup because I couldn't hear the turn signal when driving with the window open or the radio at low volume - and my hearing is always still pretty good. Added to this is the problem that my turn signals are not visible at my height and comfortable tilt handlebar position. Unlike my other car, a 2001 Jimmy, the trailer with the RPO had a fairly distinct click when blinking that was audible in almost any condition, yet not objectionable. and

  • Hands Free
