Nice easy to use microscope, some questionable loose parts

I just bought this microscope for school to finish my lab work at home. Since my field of study is biochemistry, I decided that it would make sense to get a slightly more expensive microscope for further use in my research area. I chose this microscope because it fully meets my needs and requirements. I have currently used this microscope 3 times and am now concerned about the quality of the microscope. The immersion oil lens sleeve that indicates which lens is straight is very loose. I'm…

Highly recommended for binoculars and scopes

A few years ago I bought an Amscope B120C compound microscope for just under $200 and found it to be excellent value for money. Among other things, I used it to observe plankton samples, typically at 40-100x magnification. I tried different photography methods including through the eyepiece and the Amscope D-SLR adapter, but in the end I got the best results by removing the binocular attachment and mounting the video camera through the eyepiece and the telescope's special attachment. built-in…

A student microscope at a reasonable price.

We bought this microscope for our child. We originally bought a monocular but after more research we returned the unopened monocular and bought this trinocular. When we got the scope, we almost got it back. Revain placed the PREVIOUSLY OPENED microscope box in a large Amazon box with no packaging. The only reason we didn't send the microscope back was because the tape sealing the inner box was still in place. The microscope and all the equipment was in perfect condition and properly packaged so
