Combining reviews here is confusing, but I'll try.

Combining reviews here is confusing but I'll try. I bought a 6 outlet with a 6 foot cord. Indicator light is NOT blue. Red neon power indicator. This means that after a few years it will start flashing. LED light would be better. Made in China,

Durable, works. I wanted to know.

Sturdy and works. I actually wanted to be able to attach the extension to my garage wall and with the metal tabs sticking out on the sides it worked perfectly. I just drilled small holes in them and screwed them on.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Damaged

Rugged Power Strips and Surge Protection

Trip Lite is virtually bulletproof. The only requirement is that the ears are pre-drilled. But my hand drill took care of that.

Great extension

This is a very high quality extension that will outperform all competing plastic models. It's all-metal, with heavy-duty mounting tabs on each end, a reinstallable circuit breaker, and an internally-lit switch. It's more expensive than the ubiquitous plastic junk, but it's worth it.

Pros
  • Well made
Cons
  • Frequency

Ideal for intensive use. Maybe saved my life!

This is a great heavy duty extension. I use it for my saltwater aquarium. I have many expensive devices that pass electricity through salt water filled with expensive fish. Not a good combo. I bought these units to work on a new tank. I just plug them into a GFCI outlet for added security. Once while cleaning my tank I bumped into a lamp and it fell into the tank while I was working. This extension cord turned itself off as soon as it touched the water. The light was ok, the fish was ok and I…

Love the switch cover

I'm torn if I give this outlet 4 or 5 stars. Everything in this outlet is true. The only thing I didn't like was that there were no holes on the ends. I wanted to drill this into my standing desk. The problem is that there were no holes in the end. I can probably drill one out, but so far so good. I connected it to an APC UPS. Since this is not a surge protector, this is how you should use this outlet.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Metal body, switch guard allows use as a footrest!

UL listed, has a metal body, circuit breaker, 6 foot cable with a quality cap and strain relief and (the main reason I bought it) a safe power switch Home. This allows me to build on that and not worry about shutting down all the computers at once. Don't buy cheap junk, even if it's a little cheaper. is what you want

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived
