The perfect power strip for the office

The cord length is the best feature of this surge protector. While it doesn't rotate like some other products that cost three times the price for the same number of sockets, the length makes it more accessible and makes up for it. In Las Vegas we get a lot of dry flashes. and plugging electronic devices into an outlet is like a countdown to your next visit to Best Buy. Black color makes it even and not noticeable like white. Especially since surge protectors rarely move, I think the darknessโ€ฆ

OVERHEATING: Power strips and surge protectors

I had my Panasonic Turbo-Dry EH5101P hair dryer plugged into this power strip as I have done so many times. I've heard that small appliances can blow a fuse, so I bought this surge protector a little over a year ago. I also threw away the hair dryer as the heat was so intense I thought my hair would catch fire which was no doubt a major malfunction as this had never happened before. While this prevented a power outage in my house, I was hoping the power strip would turn off the hair dryer toโ€ฆ

Good value for the right application

I needed a surge protector/receptacle for some non-critical electronic/electrical equipment. It feels solid enough, the switch works well, and I liked the long power cord. That being said, 1080 joules is enough for my application; I wouldn't put expensive electronics on this muffler though. For this I have a Triplite 8 Socket Isobar model. At 3840 joules and 12 amps of CB plus filtering, I find the Isobar to be a better match for my particularly expensive gear. Conclusion: Surge arrester is not

  • No circuit breaker

The most durable surge protector I've ever seen

I was very surprised at the quality of this surge protector, especially for the price. Pros: Sturdy construction and beautiful color. It's barely visible under my desk. Holds very tightly to anything plugged into the outlet so there's no risk of anything accidentally turning off. Thick cord but surprisingly flexible, allowing it to be easily bent to hide and tie off excess length. Visible and pleasant LED light shows Your electronics are protected. The warranty, printed directly on theโ€ฆ

One of the two parts lived 8 months.

I'll take two pieces of 12' 7-socket # TLP712 at a time. On one power button "dangles" than on the other. Everything seems to be working fine. A spare switch connects directly to the desk to power PCs, monitors and chargers. A fixed switch connects directly under the table to provide power to audio and video equipment. Eight months later I move the table and reconnect the idle switch, but it suddenly has a bad connection. In the "on" position, the device can be shaken or the switch pressedโ€ฆ
