Bought these for my son who commutes daily to work in Philadelphia. He prefers the 'soft side' style shoes to the stiffer ones for summer commuting as they are much cooler on his feet. He has a normal or wide foot so toeroom is important after being on his feet more than 12 hours a day. These shoes are trash. The sole fell off within the first month. I thought it was because of my driving skills, but it's really because of the poor quality control and crappy design. I used one of Trisevens panniers and was so impressed with the quality that I decided to try their shoes. And I couldn't be happier. Great bike shoes. Also, they were cheaper than all other options.
