We've had this installed for a little over a month. Installed according to package instructions. But the plastic is already broken. Very disappointed. We noticed the broken plastic just days after the "reverse window" and now there is nothing we can do.

If I had written this review right away I would have given it five stars. But it's up to one after maybe a month of use. The clip will rust rendering the item unusable and requiring replacement. It's meant for the street; Why use a material that will rust?

Installation was painful. It was impossible to teach myself how to attach clamps to nearly 100 feet of cable. And with two it is very difficult. Eventually I learned enough about it and got better with the clamping system on the other end. However, the main problem lay in its use. The carriage did NOT slide smoothly over the main cable. It kept getting stuck and digging into the plastic around the cable and scraping it off. I strongly DO NOT recommend this product.

I decided to buy some cable at a local hardware store and build my own dog walker but when I thought of checking out Revain I found this whole set and it was cheaper, much cheaper than a cable at the hardware store. I have a 100ft runner and it comes with all mounting hardware, turnbuckles, zip ties, etc. All cables are plastic coated for easy handling. I couldn't find 100 zip ties anywhere and it was very expensive to buy cables and components separately. Cable alone costs about $1.50 per foot. 110 feet in. $1.50 per foot is crazy! This set costs just under $30 with all the hardware. This is how I ended up having two trees where when I attached the wire to the eyebolts I had enough wire to put the lanyard straight into the eyeball. We just brought home a wildly active pup who doesn't seem to have an off switch. He's too young to walk and we've had a hard time thinking about how to burn off the energy since we don't have a fenced yard. Enter this shopping cart system. Installation took about an hour (more because we had to remove some branches from one of the trees we were using, not because the kit was confusing) and then we spent the next 90 minutes installing the legs. our little guy.
