Disappointing and the price is too high!

These expensive pliers did not live up to my expectations. The cot is not as clean and smooth as described, especially for the price!

Pros
  • Many will do it
Cons
  • Protection

Wire cutters cut wires.

If you've ever used pliers, you know they're some of the best. I make jewelry and use it to cut around 18 gauge wire and thicker but softer wire. This can be done with little effort.

Pros
  • Long ergonomic handle Length
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

BEST for heavy gauge wire

I am a jeweler and I make quite a lot of copper bracelets and rings, several a day. I can say with confidence that these are the BEST cutters I have ever used. With most other cutters I actually have to struggle with this thicker wire to cut it. I don't struggle too much with Tronex, and even if I have to press a little harder, the cut still remains…

Pros
  • Suggested Use: 12 gauge and finer Tips: 20 gauge and finer. Use only with soft metals.
Cons
  • Lean Manual

Ideal for heavier gauges

I have had these knives for over a year now. They cut 14 gauge copper, brass, sterling silver and silver perfectly. I've also used them on 10 gauge silver and copper, but not often as that thickness exceeds recommended specs. There is a VERY small pinch in the center, but not enough to prevent the jump ring from closing cleanly. I rarely feel the need to cut it, but when I just need some file movement. I usually cut all my chainmail rings, but often wrap a short ring or two. I can easily hand…
