Nothing for mountain bikes: tights, trousers and shorts

They are positioned appropriately for mountain bikes, but clearly for motorcyclists. There are no chamois. Period. The material is too thick to ride and the padding too thin to protect. Even for DH, they seem pretty much useless.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost everything fits

The lining is totally useless for aggressive sports

The lining of these shorts is very soft and thin and offers no real protection when mountain biking. The Troy Lee 7605 shorts offer much more durable thigh padding and are perfect for mountain biking.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not trendy

Picture and description of the old model

Picture of the older model. You will receive the current model without inner lining. One star deducted for incorrect information. I really wanted an older model. They are a bit big and the padding is very thin. I chose this version over others because other models have too much padding.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Some problems

Not the most comfortable shorts I've ever had, but at least I can feel it.

Not the most comfortable shorts I've had, but at least I feel safer than unlined shorts. Every time I put them on and pull them up I hear the seams pop and no they are not too small. I think it's the seams that hold the padding on the shorts. Let's see how they hold up. The belt is also not very comfortable. I'll wear them until they're gone anyway.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No gun

Convenience. that's all

I bought this 5605 because I bought the 4600 the week before The 4600's are really good and very protective but they don't have suede built in so they're back. I chose the 5605 because it has soft suede, but I'm very disappointed that the thigh and thigh padding are useless. I put them on, put my finger in my thigh and felt that there was nothing on my finger at all. I can't imagine hitting the ground like I do when mt. Cycle. I will continue my search for comfortable, protective suede mountain

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Updates available

I have tried many mountain bike protection shorts on the market and the Troy Lees LPS 5605 was the most comfortable and gave me the protection that I needed required. Padding is minimal, wish there was a little more padding or a thin sheet of plastic for hard falls. However, it suits my riding style and is many times better than just shorts. Haven't crashed since purchase so can't confirm protection. (knock on wood). If so, I'll update the review. I would recommend these shorts and a great…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Nothing
