Lifeguard on the wrist. - Elbow and wrist protection

I am an old man (59). Too many crashes at the wheel, wish I could be a better driver. The Troy Lee Wrist Guard has undoubtedly prevented fractures and possible orthopedic surgeries. The costs are negligible compared to the co-payments for emergency care! As a radiologist, I see the disgusting fracture dislocations mountain bikers suffer from. I'm not leaving the house without her!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Fits MTB: Motorcycle and Powersports

Have used it on my MTB about a dozen times for relief from wrist pain caused by sticky handlebars. Decent support to prevent excessive wrist backward bending. Nothing helps with hitting the front of the wrist/hand. Underneath I put on a padded Giro cycling glove, which helps a bit. I'm still undecided if this is any better than the $16 rigid braces I bought at Wally's World.

  • Satisfied so far

  • No Instructions

Rescue the wrist! - Motorbike & Powersports

YouTube has great reviews for this product but here is the shortest one. After a pretty gross downhill sprain I bought it to avoid future injury. It definitely helps prevent wrist/hand overpronation. It also encourages good driving habits by keeping your hand/wrist straight and not being lazy with your form. Definitely worth your money!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Boring Packaging

The best wrist brace - you can drive again!

Super lift! Fits well, sturdy enough to hold your wrist and take a beating. Flexible enough to bend the bars a bit. I also use it to play baseball now. really helps. I shattered my wrist completely, three pins and two screws. Complete reconstruction. The surgeon said it would be about a year before I could grasp the bars. After about 5 months of using this orthosis. TLD makes great hardware!

Pros
  • Probationary period for one year
Cons
  • Hard to say

Saved my wrist.: Elbow & Wrist Guard

I have moderate tendonitis in my right wrist and when I ride my mountain bike, braking or a fatal grip (bad habit I know) leaves in rough terrain a wrist I can't even bend. This support saved my wrist from post-ride pain for weeks. Keeps my wrist in the correct position and prevents misalignment with the handlebars. I'm considering buying the left one just in case it's that good. I have very small wrists and hands and the small size fits perfectly.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not sure

Really lattice girders. They don't protect against wrist compression, but they definitely protect against excessive wrist reverse rotation. I use boxing wraps to protect my wrists from pressure impacts and also to protect my wrists from rotational impacts. I've had 4 hard hits to my wrists while wearing this combo and have not had any noticeable injuries or damage to my wrists to date.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Pretty good thumb and ankle brace CMC

I have arthritis in my right thumb and need a carpometacarpal (CMC) brace. The Troy Lee wrist brace helps, especially when the three Velcro straps are properly adjusted. The first few photos show normal use of the straps, which work well. The second pair of photos shows the top and middle straps switching places for wrapping. The middle strap now offers better support for the right thumb and CMC joint for longer rides and is a more comfortable configuration. Although not perfect, it allows you…

Good value and good for recovery

Riding after a broken wrist was a bit patchy and this brace definitely helped me get back on the trails. Definitely good value for money. Comfortable, adjustable, not too bulky or annoying, easily wearable with gloves. I saw some reviews that it was extra small and the large was as big as it gets which made me a little nervous but I don't understand why people are saying that. I'm 6ft 1in, overweight, and use XL or even XXL for almost everything, and I've had no issues with the sizing of these…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Almost OK

LARGE Bike Wrist Wrap

I am 52 years old and just started road cycling after being a weight lifter and runner for 36 years. for a charity trip 50 miles in 6 months for the cancer center where I work. I have early arthritis in my right wrist from weightlifting and karate training 25 years ago. After short (3 miles) rides with my 7 year old on our new bikes my wrist was killing me. Got this brace and went on longer solo trips to train. After my first three rides of 24, 28, and 32 miles, I had no wrist pain while…
