Solid stainless steel construction, 4 inches length to extend your shower arm or lower the rainfall shower head. This is an extender for shower arm connection, not fit for wall NPT 1/2 inch female connector. Upgraded with large through hole design to maintain original water pressure, 0.67"(17mm) inside diameter and 0.79"(20.5mm) outside diameter. Standard shower arm extender, female end to shower arm outlet and male end to the shower head or combo handheld holder. DO NOT FIT FOR WALL NPT FEMALE THREAD. Polished Chrome finish, mirror like surface, long life time and easy to clean. Easy to install, 1 sealing rubber gasket included for quick connection.

Defective, twice. - my new review

The male thread was defective. I returned it, got a replacement, and it also didn't fit. Don't waste your time and money.

Pros
  • Appears to be of good quality. The brushed nickel matches well.
Cons
  • Not exactly what I thought. The connection broke off after/during installation. Not happy with results.

Finally I can have a good shower

I'm short so my shower head is wayyyyyy above me so the hot water feels lukewarm by the time it reaches me. This extension is wonderful! It was super easy to install and brings my shower head down so I feel like I am finally getting a decent shower with hot water!

Very nice fit and finish.

Item is very well made and fits perfectly. To be completely honest, I ended up taking it back off because the wife preferred the shower head closer to one end of the shower.

Simple things don't need to be complex. Buy something else

This should have been a very simple threaded piece of pipe. Instead they tried to make it as compiles as possible with an o ring, threaded insert and spinning nut. So, instead of 2 points of potential leak, there are now 4. And they did. I had to reassemble and reinstall this piece of junk twice in order to manage the drips.

  • This was perfect. I'm 5' 2" had trouble reaching to adjust shower heads. This is a life saver.
