I wish I had found these compression shorts years ago and saved myself a lot of chafing. When I bought them I had questions about how to wear them. under sports shorts or alone. And I've seen them worn both ways at my local gym. They're thin and very stretchy, leaving little to the imagination when wearing them individually, but certainly some people do. They were too big for a chubby guy like me but I can't wear them in public because they are too similar to underwear. Manufacturers have to decide whether it's underwear or outerwear because it's not clear!
