Installed poles at the 2019 crossing when they arrived. The installation was uncomplicated. Directions helped. Saw them installed on a YT video and immediately ordered a set. So far I am satisfied with their work. Drilling is not required, which was a priority for me. I plan to grease the ball joints and use some blue Loctite on the bottom bracket bolts. They seem to work well as intended, they seemed almost too stiff when I first started closing them but I noticed the hood flexed a bit. I installed them ok, the instructions could really use more detail. The part you bolt to the frame for the bottom comes with a bolt/nut/washer and I was confused how to get the nut from the back of the frame to the front as the headlight and battery is right there are, it's a very tight spot.
