To close these shoes you need to move the buckle to where it fits your ankle and insert it into the quick release buckle. I cut off the extra strap that was hanging off when I adjusted them the way I wanted. They are flexible and have no areas that can cut into my legs while dancing.

I ordered my exact size 7.5 Regular and they fit perfectly. They have a comfortable wide toe and long ankle straps (I'll have to shorten them). If you have very narrow feet, they may seem too wide for you. I need to put a hole in the ankle strap to make it a little tighter but other than that they are very comfortable. Like! I wore them straight out of the box to dance class and they didn't hurt my legs AT ALL; These are definitely the most comfortable heels I've ever had. I'm new to latin dancing so the flared heel is great for support. My ankles also feel very good. They are true to size.
