Kit includes 2 containers specially made for Two-Minute Tie Dye – speed up the dye set process from 8 hours to 2 minutes with the same vibrant results!. Fabrics do not need to be pre-soaked in soda ash before dyeing; fabrics MUST be thoroughly damp before microwaving in containers. For use with 100% cotton fabrics ONLY. I have used this kit with my 11 and 9 year olds and it has worked very well. If you've never dyed a tie before, be sure to read the entire guide and watch a few YouTube videos to learn about general dyeing techniques. If you do your research, you can get really good results. tips. Use a dollar store plastic tablecloth to protect your countertop. Convenient to use, ideal for family activities. Little waiting time!

This was our first tie-dye experience and it turned out to be very successful! Our two children aged 6 and 7 helped with their shirts and they loved it. We used every drop of paint from every bottle and made 4 adult t-shirts, 6 children's t-shirts and 2 children's shorts. The colors are so vibrant! I read other people's comments before purchasing, and here's what worked for me: 1) Reading is the foundation. Read the instructions before you begin. 2) Soak white 100% cotton laundry for 2 minutes before dyeing.
