Easy to put on. Will stay in place. Silicone strips on top and bottom bands prevent from rolling up your legs or down your torso. Doesn't really smooth out "muffin top" but makes it less noticeable. The only problem I found was, when wearing polyester pants with stretchy waistbands, they tend to slip down. LOL! Have to make sure they are in place at all times. LOL!

This doesn’t clip to your bra and regardless of what the other posts say about this particular Spanx body shaper - this one DOES NOT have an opening to easily go to the bathroom - you have to pull it down every time you go to the bathroom! I am size 12 and got the XL. It fit, but it was really tight, and hard to pull over my thighs. It did its job and tucked me in, however it was so tight it was hard to adjust in the bathroom after having a few cocktails. I reccomend sizing up for comfort, and make sure you don't have to go to the bathroom a lot when wearing it.

I needed something to hold me in & offer support and this product did both! It was snug but not uncomfortable and I loved how I looked in my dress. The only negative would be using the bathroom. It does accommodate with a slit but for me I did not feel it was large enough to actually use. Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought both Spanx Higher Power Shorts and Shapermint High Waisted Body Shaper Shorts in the size each company suggested for me, in preparation for a family wedding where I wanted to look my best. I ended up buying the Spanx Higher Power Panties that have no legs; they were too restrictive, and there was no way I could go to the bathroom w/o completely disrobing (although the Spanx product did have a slit in the panty area, while the Shapermint product did not).I submit the photo above to show

Hello,This is the first Spanx I've owned . I looked at the size chart and was Leary of things that fit snug . I ordered a 1xl and very glad I did . I am 130 lbs , 5"3 , and this product stretches but I could not wear a smaller size without it being a fight to pull this up. I'm just normal size, size 10 pants to give you a good idea . These are not the spanx you get from a department store. They don’t snug you in quite right, and they certainly don’t make you look like celebrity. But, what they do well is that they don’t upset digestive system like department store spanx. They’ll smooth you… but it’ll be you the same.

Oh how I love these Spanx! They are my favorite for under dresses or pants. They go up to my bra-line, so there's no "line" that shows through your clothes, they smooth out the ripples along my midriff and thighs, but keep my behind accentuated so it doesn't look flat. Its super stretchy and hides my Mommy's pooch spectacularly. Exactly what I wanted and expected when I ordered it. The only problem is the stretchy band does roll down. That could also be because I have a short torso. It's also somewhat difficult to get off when you need to use the restroom.

I ordered this hoping it was going to pull my little pooch in and it sorta does but it’s not a huge difference as you can see. Gives alot of compression. I am 118lbs 5ft 2in and the small was exceptionally tight. I was getting pain from my rib cage area after about 2 hours. I would definitely recommend sizing up. Arrived quickly.

I tried both the Spanx and Shapermint shapewear in the same size. I bought a 3x and weigh 260 lbs with a few rolls in front. I returned the Shapermint. Here's why: The Shapermint first of all didn't fit and was a struggle to try to get on. The Spanx had more stretch and getting it on was much easier. This product does a great job holding everything in. I’ve worn it and washed it several times. No rips, snags or tears. The only thing is, the opening they have for you to use the bathroom is not functional. It doesn’t "open” when you sit. That means you either have to get creative😯or take them down which is difficult due to the amount of compression. This was a great purchase. Very comfortable and the stretch is stretching 👌🏾Only issue I had is with the waist band rolling down into my back fat . I think the sticky stuff on the waist band that is supposed to help with this, should be wider and go all around to the front.

Lots of stretch but kept rolling down. I had a lot of hope that this would provide support and a fit for an evening out, but the rolling started almost immediately. I often wear size 8 dresses, but I do have a narrow back so perhaps that may account for the lack of fit. If it would stay in place, it would provide the look I expected. I may return it and try a smaller size, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
