This sketchbook is very pretty, has some texture and is the perfect size to put in a bag or draw outside. The picture is painted with my gouache chemistry, which I haven't used in a long time (also as paint). I'm not sure how watercolor will react here, but I think everything is fine? This small magazine is ideal for research, technical experiments and miniatures. The quality of the paper is very high, so you can easily use both sides of each sheet. The binding is also of high quality, a kind of structured covering over thick cardboard. The elastic closure is also durable. This magazine could definitely thrive in a plein air environment. The pages are perforated, but my sister-in-law, an artist in our family, hasn't tried removing them and there is a pocket for torn pages…

I've recently added to my collection of art and travel books to take with me on the go. I want to sketch every day, wherever I am. This little book is perfect. HOW ARE YOU. I was pleasantly surprised by this watercolor magazine. I've kind of given up trying to find a quality watercolor magazine that won't break the bank.
