Description of Tungsten Carbide Professional Specialised Materials

✔ Our Tungsten Carbide Tipped Cutters(TCT hole saws) are a superior alternative to conventional Bi-Metal Hole saws. They cut faster, cleaner, and last longer. Say goodbye to burnt out, smoking holesaws. Try a T.C.T. you'll love it. ✔ Tungsten cutters cut through, steel plate, iron, aluminium, copper, cast iron, and most importantly, stainless steel and other tough alloys. ✔ The spring loaded pilot bit ejects the cut slug, saving time. The cutter body then cuts a clean, burr-free hole faster than conventional twist drills or hole saws. ✔ T.C.T. cutters are the standard for electrical construction, transit work and general metal fabrication. The spring on the pilot bit ejects the cut slug. ✔ With normal care, tool life is significantly longer than other hole cutting tools. Inexpensive resharpening will allow repeated use.

No Disappointment On Performance

after reading the reviews of others who used it. I took a chance because of the price. I drilled a pilot hole first because others said the drill bit broke. Then I used lots of OIL and the slowest speed my drill could handle. Sure, it might take 3 to 4 minutes to cut through 2 sides of 11ga 2x4 square tubing, but guess what. I can't rush to perfection. 8 holes popped out and it's still sharp. I can't just drive this drill into steel like I can into wood. it just doesn't work that way. take your

Pros
  • ✔ TCT torches are the standard for electrical, transportation and structural steel work. The guide chisel spring ejects the cut projectile.

DO NOT BUY THIS - I WILL ADD PHOTOS WHEN THE PHONE WORKS!

I am a marine mechanic and often have to drill large holes in thick steel on ships to run cables on board. I bought this item hoping it would perform better than the standard steel hole saws we all buy at Home Depot. Even if I can do without the plasma cutter, all the better - hot work on the boat is definitely out of the question! (no operator error). This hole saw had a tooth chipped, the center piece broke in half and IN FIVE SECONDS my hand slammed into the bulkhead. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!

Pros
  • ✔ Spring-loaded pilot nozzle ejects the cut piece, saving time. The cutter body then cuts a clean, burr-free hole faster than conventional twist drills or hole saws.
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Excellent and cheap

I had to drill a hole for a detergent dispenser in a sink I bought from Ikea. The sink is made of composite material - 80% ground quartz and 20% acrylic. It's very difficult, but this piece went smoothly. Trying not to push too hard, I let the weight of the bit do its job, just making sure the teeth stayed in contact with the surface. I used a handheld vacuum to remove the powdery slag as it formed. The job took about five minutes with no visible damage to the teeth and a nice clean hole. Most…

Pros
  • ✔ With normal maintenance, the tool life is much longer than other hole drilling tools. Inexpensive sharpening allows multiple uses
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
