so sharp my wife cut herself off the first time smh

we use it for many things including trimming brisket for fumigation; sliced watermelon; and other cooking. Be careful it's really spicy (as it should be)

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • something is wrong

Serious boning knife at a great price

It could be a little thinner but the build quality is excellent and I have a very large hand and it fits me. Fit and finish are excellent here. In this price range you could do MUCH worse.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Feels good looks good doesn't stay sharp

I bought this knife because it looks good and I wanted a good quality knife and although it looks nice and is a great price this is it here the knife does not get sharp, at least not mine. I could only butcher 2 b4 fish, that would have been an almost boring butter knife, I ended up running to Walmart and bought a cheap $6 knife and it made this filleting/boning knife look bad

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Neutral

Great knife! in the kitchen and dining room

I'm a bit of a knife freak when it comes to kitchen knives, I wish I had quality knives in my kitchen and I'm very hesitant to buy knives under $100 But recently I retired and found that I now have to live on a tight budget. After carefully researching this knife online I decided to venture into a less expensive knife and I'm very glad I did. Sharp, beautiful and well made like my old Henckle knives, not cheap consumer Henckles but good ones. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Feels good, looks good, doesn't hold an edge

looks good and is expensive This knife doesn't hold a blade, at least not mine. I was only able to butcher 2 b4 fish, that would have been an almost boring butter knife, I ended up running to Walmart and bought a cheap $6 knife and it made this filleting/boning knife look bad

Pros
  • Falls off easily
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

The quality needs to be improved!

At first glance, this knife looks beautiful. However, when you pick it up and look at the details, the quality just isn't there. The handle has raised edges where metal meets wood. Sharp metal burrs make the knife very awkward to move. It doesn't seem like a lot of stuff, but it doesn't take much to catch your skin either. I bought something nice for a friend and I would never give it to him. If I don't want it, then I won't give it to anyone. Update 7/1/21 I have sent back the original knife…

Pros
  • Shapely handle
Cons
  • No insurance
