My little one was so disappointed that his new swimsuit didn't fit him. I also felt very bad for him. He was so excited when I showed him the photo and saw the tacos and cats were on his new swim trunks. Unfortunately, these shorts won't fit him for another two or maybe even three years! Seriously, they are actually that much bigger.

These swim trunks fit my 13 year old son perfectly and have room to grow. He is 4 feet 10.5 inches tall, weighs 88 pounds and has an average build. I usually buy my son a pair of slightly oversized pants because he does NOT have a flat back. They have a secure drawstring waist and as long as he doesn't gain too much weight these bottoms will definitely fit him next year. The length of the torso is perfect, it comes down to the kneecaps. The mesh lining and pockets are of course an added bonus.

Do Not Buy With Confidence 10 was too big - doesn't fit. Size 7/8 fits perfectly, there is room to grow. My son is 9.5 years old, 6'1", 10" waist, 75 lbs.
