i enjoy them on headsets

This is my second pair, the first pair lasted 3 years. So I wasn't angry when they stopped working. They are powered by USB, TO USE THEM YOU MUST PLUG IT IN. The presence of cords is a little annoying, but the convenience of not having to charge or die during use is nice. These headphones have really good bass, sometimes I use them to listen to music. When playing games you can HEAR EVERYTHING including where sounds like footsteps or noises are coming from. If you have an XBOX ONE, you NEED an…

Does not come with 2 key cables

I love that the product works fantastic, is comfortable and feels like it has never been used. But that may be due to my accidental reading on my part, but I think it should be bold somewhere that it doesn't come with an RCA adapter or splitters. Had to buy online for an extra $20. However, the service was great, they offered me a $20 refund for the cost of the cables, which I was surprised and happy to hear as my budget was so limited due to the corona virus. Just thought I might buy a headset

Pretty uncomfortable. You get what you pay for.

This is a good headset. Not really comparable to today's standards but does the job. The foam is hard and the headset presses the head very tight. Any movement of the jaw, like talking or eating, is uncomfortable at best. After long sessions, my jaw hurt for an hour or two. There is nothing to say about the sound quality. You get what you pay for. This is comparable to mid-range headphones. The microphone, like most headsets in this price range, was pretty bad. Although the included mic…

Great sound, total immersion.

I've read negative reviews about these headphones but I like them. The sound is great. As for the hum, I plugged my headphones into an amp at a moderate volume, so with the headphones on I didn't have to crank the headphone volume up to get sound. If you use the built in amplifier to boost a weak signal, you will end up with a lot of noise. This noise is normal and not due to a defect in these headphones. Immersive sound is scary. I really thought someone had entered my house so I took off my…

You won't regret it

I didn't buy them from Revain, I bought them from Walmart (no Prime back then). I played/used my 360 almost every day, several hours. Love the long cord, I've never been in a situation where I had to take it off while moving around my 10x10 bedroom. They sit comfortably on my ears (I would say I have average ears) and I have no problem keeping them on my head (my friends and family always tell me what size they are). They've lasted about 5 years (I've used my 360 less in the past year or so)…

I liked it. on Xbox systems

I fucking used them. Most people have advised me to get the unchored version of this, but I hate changing batteries, especially since I use these types of products so often. It was nice to just connect and hear the world close in a realm of silence around me. My wife spoke to me and I hardly noticed anything unless she slapped my arm or spoke in a loud voice right next to me. If you need a quiet place just put on these noise canceling headphones, although if you have a woman I'll always keep my

That was great! on Xbox systems

I originally got a pair of these around 2010. I can't remember which month. Anyway, I've only had them for about 10 years and use them pretty heavily every day. They were used on the Xbox 360 and later on the PC. they sounded so good. I bought these for $25 + tax and they've been MUCH better since I got my new headset, which unfortunately isn't the case. The part of the headband next to the ear cup broke a few years ago and I just used a 5 minute epoxy and they lasted a few more years. They…

Very good very good

I recently bought another pair of these headphones after my first pair died after about 4 years of faithful service. Xbox 360 Headset I was looking for something inexpensive but with quality sound and a decent microphone. X12 scored all 3 points and the rest is history. Initially I had problems with the reverse chat cable and had to send in a replacement, but that didn't really matter. Every time I have had to contact them, Turtle Beach's customer service has been amazing. Later I became more…

Turtle Beach X12 vs. Turtle Beach XLA vs. Triton Trigger.

This review compares three entry-level Xbox 360 gaming headsets: the Turtle Beach X12, Turtle Beach XLA, and Triton Trigger. My goal was to find the highest quality gaming headset for less than $50. This provided chat and game sounds. I bought all three at once from Revain to test them out. Here is the price at the time of purchase. These headsets share the same basic features. Simple and reliable and requires no battery replacement. Amplified Sound (USB powered - connects to Xbox). ) Similar…
