Name Turtlewax

It takes a little effort, but this stuff really works. My Miata's headlights were dim and blurry. I have tried every homemade "medicine" from internet videos. None of them worked so I was very skeptical about claims made about this product but it works. They're not the same as the new headlights, but certainly a lot better. One was scratched by one of the video solutions; This product even removed most of the scratches. I was very surprised but delighted.

DO NOT BUY! To stay updated!

Worked on one, DESTROYED the other. If you use the ceramic pad a little longer than usual and start smearing it after it dries, it's incredibly fast. The entire headlight is ruined by the dry ceramic nebulae covering my entire single headlight. Had to buy a diff kit from a better place and that should have fixed it but nothing but ridiculous crap coming from turtlewax. Directions are cheap and not clear about some things. Not recommended unless you want it to horribly dirty and dirty your…

Follow instructions

It works very well. My headlights look brighter than new. They used to be yellow and cloudy. If you are a stingy person (like me) and have a desire to save every last drop of lube/wax. NOT. I've used this stuff liberally on both my SUV headlights and my fog lights and I've only used about 1/8th of a bottle. But I can tell you that if you don't apply enough lube, not only is it not as effective, it can also damage and scratch your headlight. What this does is wet sanding a small layer of…

All in all a great product

Just two things to look out for. #1-When using "Ceramic Wipe" move quickly and smoothly. DO NOT go back to the stain, it leaves streaks (it starts to dry VERY quickly). #2 - It would be nice if they included individual wipes (both ceramic and sealant) for each lens. I have a Buick Enclave and these lenses are quite large and the wipes run out halfway through the second lens. They offer a kit with a lens and everything. Those with large lenses might want to go this route. Otherwise the…

Good product! good for headlight assemblies, parts and accessories

I have been dealing with muddy, yellowed headlights on my 12 year old Honda for quite some time. I once sanded the lenses with a wet grinder and polished them with paste, but after only a few weeks they turned yellow again. After reading a few reviews I decided to give the Turtle Wax Kit a try and I'm so happy I did! This set works and the results are saved! Everything you need is included and the instructions are clear. Wet grinding takes time. Spend a little more time on the wet sanding steps

Pros
  • great for small homes
Cons
  • has imperfections
