Only got to use it once but the protective case seems pretty sturdy. It protected my Garmin from a few short falls without leaving a single scratch. So that's a win. Please note that this sleeve is not compatible with the spinal system that mini comes with. You'll either have to throw away the back or "modify" the case. You can put everything in place. However, this puts a little strain on the plastic.

This case makes charging the GPS difficult due to the recessed USB cover and the wrong size of the cutout in the case. They also failed to mention that it also comes with a screen protector. "Free" add-ons would normally be a bonus, but I also bought two packs of screen protectors (from the same company) at the same time and didn't realize it until they were opened and used. In short, if you decide to buy this item, don't be fooled into buying screen protectors.

I received this to prolong the life of my InReach. I keep my InReach on the shoulder strap of my pack where it's protected from pretty much everything except the occasional bump from branches or rocks. Reception is best there and InReach really needs a clear view of the sky to work. I was a little worried about possible signal attenuation from the antenna's cover, but didn't realize it was an issue. Seems to be made well enough to last a long time.

Goes very well with the InReach mini. The buttons still seemed to work easily. I can see where it would be a bit difficult for some people to open the charging cover. Everything seemed fine until I tried to reattach the carabiner and accessory clip on the back. You can get it, but then it becomes a potential game changer because it's such a bad fit. The black rubber protective case fits my inReach Mini easily. Unfortunately, the protective film is of poor quality. No problem, because the suitcase is what I really need. I ordered a screen protector from another brand from Revain and it fits perfectly. Again, I would buy this item just for the screen protector and order a different brand of screen protector. Perfect fit for the inReach Mini, provides access through the lid to the strap mount, SOS button, sync/charge port and display. The InReach mini-keys can be operated through the lid, and the key button markers are parrot-like on the outside of the case. There is a cut-out on the back of the case that allows for the use of a fabric loop that can be attached to a carabiner for security. The slot adapter does not work with this installed product.
