Description of Tusk Chamber CRF250R CRF450R KAWASAKI

Two-piece tool set needed to remove the fork cap from the outer fork tube and Dual-Chamber compression body found on newer Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Honda motorcycles with Kayaba (KYB) forks. Fork cap tool set includes a 49mm outer cap wrench with slotted handle to hold the damping rod, and the 35mm inner fork cap wrench. Durable, hardened steel construction with a zinc coating.

Edited Peefectly good for tool kits

Works perfectly as intended. I would have posted pictures but I started the front suspension repair and completely forgot to take a picture

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Nice tool worth having.

Good tool, bought for my 2014 WR450F but will also fit other models that use a 49mm fork cap. Doesn't damage caps like a normal socket. The slot at the end to accommodate the cartridge tip also saves time.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Write later

Good tools are good for tool sets

This enabled me to exchange the fork oil seals. The tools worked great. The reason for the 4 stars is because the large box wrench had a ridge on one side so I couldn't use it with the Tusk logo down so I cut the ridge down. Works great now! The tools paid for themselves the first time they were used.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Significantly better than Motion Pro

I used this on my 2007 YZ250F. Motion Pro 08-0429 (http://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-08-0428-Blue-Wrench/dp/B001AWIJQ4) I prefer Tusk to not a Motion Pro for several reasons: 1. You don't need to remove the handlebar to loosen the damper assembly as the wrench is thin enough to loosen the lower handlebar mount.2. The compression valve adapter uses a standard 19mm hex head.3. They're made of steel, not aluminum, and will withstand *serious* bumps. I finally bought them after removing the aluminum

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
