🚲 Tucson Garmin Rtl510 Seatpost Mount Review

Nice and stable small seat post mount for my Garmin Varia brake light. The seat post locking ring is made of metal and is very easy to assemble. Holds the brake light in one place very well.

I bought this mount to have enough space on my seat post to put my bike on a work stand. The mount works great, is simple and gives you plenty of room above the seatpost clamp. Simple but great product.

This bolt-on mount replaces the rubber strap mount on my Varia 510. Holds the Garmin securely in place, is easy to adjust and gives me peace of mind that I'm not going to be spending expensive Garmin- Device. Recommend!

Of course a bit expensive for the bracket. However, it was rock solid and I'm not surprised if my Varia fell off. The rubber band mount is actually decent, but the washboard tends to shift it. There are no such problems with this mount.

This mount is perfect for the Garmin Varia Radar. It is very durable, safe and well designed. Garmin had to deliver that with radar. The Garmin mount is a piece of crap that will eventually fail and lose your $200 device.

My Varia RTL515 mount is perfect as if it was made in a Garmin factory. Time will tell if the Garmin mount can withstand the ever changing weather here in North America. Good product. I want the inner clamp to be made of good quality PVC or rubber to absorb vibration and not scratch my carbon seatpost.

Well done block. Not an elegant look, if that's important to you. I can't vouch for the Garmin 1/4 turn adapter yet, but it looks solid enough. For insurance reasons, I attach a lens cap leash to my Varia. One downside: Clip spacers are cumbersome to install as they unclip until the clip is tight, making them easy to drop. In contrast to the OEM version, the mounting bracket can be adjusted from above.

Have only had a few rides so far but the clip appears to be aluminum and has enough extension to allow the Varia to be mounted low on the seat post pin loosen the saddle clamp and create space for the saddlebag. The quarter turn mount is made of plastic. After 5/21-6 months and a few hundred miles it's holding up well on some very rough local roads.

This mount is pretty solid. It's attached to my custom Varia Block carbon seatpost and after a few hundred miles it's still as solid as the day I installed it. One of the best features of this mount is the ability to adjust the angle of the mount once it is attached to the bristle post. This just made aiming the Varia very easy. The only thing I want to see are the black screws. The bracket comes with silver screws, the black ones would be better matched. Overall excellent fit.
