I used to buy this as part of a travel kit from Ulta. and the wire cutters became dull after a year so I wanted to replace them. I was so excited to find a mini on Amazon so I could keep my wallet small. Well, fast forward two months and I'm pretty lazy. I've used it PERHAPS 5 times. and is already difficult to cut and pulls sagging nails as it is blunt. it worked wonderfully the first time. urge wouldn't spend money on it. its design just doesn't offer a good hinge closure or a sharp cut.

You know when you get a rash you shouldn't scratch it, but then you do it anyway because it drives you crazy? That's how it is with my ridges. I can't stop poking at them until they get ugly. To avoid this unpleasant condition, I always have a cuticle nipper with me. That is, until I came across this one. These little guys' profile is a fraction of standard cuticle nippers, and they do the job better than those big ol' things. And bonus - they're about half the price!

Made by Tweezerman in India, these so-called wire cutters have bulky, chunky handles. Only the very, very tips, an area similar to a needle tip, pinch a bit. The rest of the tool compresses the burr, causing further tearing of the skin. This is partly because the ends are snapped and only match at the top. Shame on Tweezerman, a respected manufacturer in the past. Don't buy this crap.
