Nice and overpriced. Money to burn for you!

Good stuff, simple, works as it's supposed to, but way more expensive than it should be. People buy Apple for the reliable classic form and function, they spend a little more, but Apple's prices go down. 12 South believe they should charge a high price for a small amount of material. They spend a lot on pretty packaging and while the product is good they want you to pay for it. I ended up returning it only because there was no point other than saying I have money to burn when I could pay 10.00…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not the best

Purchased 10th August 2010 through Revain, worked fine with my 2018 Macbook Pro and plastic case but I recently got my A changed 2018 Macbook Pro with a new 13" Macbook Pro 2020 M1 also bought a plastic hard case from Revain, unfortunately none of the inlays will work with this new case and I just don't want to shell out the extra $14.00 for a newer inlay 12South , who paid $64.50 for this book sheet in August of this year, decided to use my points to buy an Omotron stand for less than half the

Wow. They sure increased their profits.

So I've had the original book since publication and it's a joke. Firstly, the inserts are all pretty much the same size so you can't put a MacBook in a case, which is absurd, and without a case there's going to be some banging, so what's the point? They made it a lot smaller which looks nice but kept the same high price. They have also done away with the cable function of the old one and the new one simply grabs the cable with its height. I prefer the new cable management, but that's another…

Not a full five stars

Good. I'm not giving this place the full five stars for one reason. Because the rubber grommet hole you put the laptop in is a removable rubber material. Every time I put my Macbook in, the rubber grommet falls off and I then have to adjust it to secure the laptop. Every damn time. This is very annoying for the price you pay for this item. Most likely, the manufacturer thought that the presence of interchangeable rubber grommets (of different sizes) gave us consumers the opportunity to adapt…

Quality control issues x2

I knew what I was getting into with this product: overpriced, repackaged, lightweight piece of bent aluminum with a hole. However, the videos and reviews convinced me that it would be difficult to do better, so I bought it. My copy came out of the box with an error the size of a fingerprint. I can't tell if it's a drop of clear coat or scratched metal. If it was a $20 thing I'd live with it. I am sorry. I will not accept such a quality control problem at such a ridiculous price. I pointed this…

It is very nice. for notebook accessories

If you listen to reviews, you will never buy anything. Especially if you are only guided by reviews of this product, you will never buy it. Here I helped you. But if you're free to think and do what's best for you, do yourself a favor and buy it - you might be surprised at how well it does what it's supposed to do - and if you don't like it, give it it back. The .BookArc works perfectly, it is made of aluminium, of a very high quality and contains all the necessary inserts to make your MBP…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some defects

I have an original product. It's heavy and durable, and you'll feel secure stashing your $1,000-$3,000 MacBook in it. At the time it was worth the price. This new version is much smaller and lighter (which isn't a good thing) and made cheaper, so overpriced. I just bought a 2020 MacBook Pro (let's just call it $2500). It's smaller and lighter (which is a good thing in this case) and very well made. This stand is intended for use with this product (as shown). It's visually appealing and wobbles…
