I have an original product. It's heavy and durable, and you'll feel secure stashing your $1,000-$3,000 MacBook in it. At the time it was worth the price. This new version is much smaller and lighter (which isn't a good thing) and made cheaper, so overpriced. I just bought a 2020 MacBook Pro (let's just call it $2500). It's smaller and lighter (which is a good thing in this case) and very well made. This stand is intended for use with this product (as shown). It's visually appealing and wobbles a bit (but you want it to be easy to remove without damaging your device). As I'm used to this setup I'll probably keep it, but not 100% sure yet. I'll stay with him for a few days and see how I feel afterwards. I've seen, felt, touched, etc. all the blocks this stand claims to fit. The latest MacBook Air will probably fit, certainly not the 16-inch or 15-inch as I have a feeling they will rip off easily. Purpose but other than that I am very disappointed with what I received compared to what I am used to from the same company.
