Excellent works great.

I purchased this to check oven temp at 350 deg. Within 1deg accuracy of 2 other digital thermometers. Would purchase again. Not a lot of money and works quite well. If you treat it right it will last.

  • Bulky Size: With dimensions of 5X50MM, this probe may prove to be too large and unwieldy for certain applications where space is at a premium

Needless flairing of plug-in makes it unuseable!

Bought it to use with a Amprobe TMD-50 meter. Inputs on meter are in wells that are designed to take a standard input. Unfortunately, and needlessly, the Twidec plug-in flairs-out such that it will not fit in the input well. No electrical contact!If they had used a standard plug-in w/o the useless flair all would be well. Grrrr!

Cons
  • Expensive: While it is a high-quality product, the Twidec/2M With Plug Stainless Steel K-Type Sensor Probes Metal HeadProbe For Thermocouple Sensor & Meter Temperature Controller may be considered pricey when compared to similar products on the market

For a DIY project for my opinion

I have this measuring the temperature accurately for a diy project. Seems well made and accurate reading, would buy again!
