I have 12 nozzles (in multiple tanks, not all in one tank). Purple is all my favorites. I can feed a whole leaf and in 5 minutes or less it's gone. Green or brown algae (as well as a variety of grocery stores) take 30 minutes or more before disappearing.

The same purple algae as the small pack in a convenient size. Surgeons are my favorite species of fish, and I quickly scanned the little packages. This pouch contains a somewhat amazing amount of seaweed, but it's the same quality I would expect from two small fish. I've noticed that purple algae feeds more aggressively than green algae and has a better impact on lower leg color and health.
