Works great. in my review

I have a water conditioning system in my unheated garage. This relay in conjunction with a old style thermostat and incandescent light keep the enclosure (made by me!) above 40 DegF.

Pros
  • The relay worked well, as intended. However, documentation was lacking.
Cons
  • The YJ2N-LY relay may be more expensive than other similar relays on the market

Defective combination. Yes, another frustrating experience with a cheaply made Chinese product.

The Relay clicked and its indicator light came on, but the NO connections did not close. Troubleshooting revealed that the socket was the problem. Its screws were not connected to the relay's insertion pins which actually did close.A simple factory quality control could easily have weeded out the defective part. Instead, the end user is the one who endures the frustration and time delays to getting a working product.

Marvelous Relay in my review

There is a tremendous amount of confusing and in some cases incorrect information on this relay. I suspect this may account for certain issues that some posters experienced with this relay. What I am describing here relates ONLY to the 110v AC 8 pin model Relay - which is the one that I ordered and used in my project. To what extent this may or may not apply to other models, i.e. the 12v or 24 models, I cannot say.Specifically the information about pin configuration and usage in the description

Worked perfectly best in my review

I was building a custom sound system in my project car requiring the placement of the amp and crossovers in an accessible location other than under the front seat because of the multiple adjustments on the amp and crossovers.
