Perfect fit for GMC Sierra 2011

Transmission oil cooler as originally fitted. Thanks for adding the new fittings, they snap onto the pipes in seconds. No leaks and works beautifully. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Protection

Works well but won't snap

It's thicker and wider than the original and connects to standard tubing. Extremely well built and keeps the drivetrain cool. My complaint: if you don't know how to do it, don't buy it. It will not depend. I made some changes and now it fits

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Reliable

A must have for trucks/SUVs

Although my Tahoe came with a 'tow kit', the auxiliary transmission cooler was clearly not part of that kit. I've seen temperatures of just over 200 degrees in heavy traffic without towing. With this setup I saw a 30 to 40 degree drop depending on the weather and riding conditions. It's a worthwhile investment even if you don't lug anything.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Good overall but...

Fits, but needs some adjustment.

Requires some skill to install. It's not earlier marked as LKW 07+, maybe that's why. But my 2002 Silverado had to open holes in the frame it bolts to, so I made a set of brackets for the top. I was looking at the OEM AC Delco cooler and it mounts the same way and doesn't have top brackets as the original, so it must be a design change for some reason. I simply used two flat pieces of aluminum, made a few bends and a few screws, and put in a new top bracket.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Reasonable

Fits in a 2002 suburb and works great!

This device exceeded my expectations. Although the bracket is different from the stock cooler, it is firmly attached. I used the existing push clamp holes in the bottom of the stock mounting frame with two screws from the original top bracket to bolt on the bottom of this unit. It looks like you'll need to widen the mounting frame holes in the truck, but I didn't. end up needing. It just worked. For the top I used wire with 4 turns on each side and a horizontal set of loops. Very reliable…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
