Barely acceptable - Engine cooling and air conditioning

Jeep Liberty 3.7L 4WD 2002 of release. Not the same as the original; doesn't fit as well as the original. Arrived with a broken latch. If I had a choice, I would not buy this brand again.

Suitable for Jeep Liberty 3.7 2WD 2002

Perfect replacement for the factory fan. JEEP Liberty 2002. I replaced 2 fan motor relays before noticing the fan motor was failing and overloading the relay. Replaced fan and problem solved.

Works well, but installation problems

Nice fan, but mine didn't fit. It seemed too tight by about 1/8 inch. I had to sand the sheathing and both lower legs a bit to get them to fit. Screwing in the second of the two screws was also very difficult because the upper tabs were too narrow. At the same time, the installation took about 2 hours instead of the prescribed 30 minutes, but it works well.

Excellent quality. Bought to replace the fan.

Excellent quality. I bought this to replace a fan I bought from a certain auto parts club store that was poor quality. The store bought version only lasted about 8 months before the spindle lock/mount fell off causing the blade to slip and rendering it completely unusable. It's better quality and much cheaper.

The fan is NOT suitable for Jeep Liberty 3.7 Limited with electrical and mechanical cooling

Hello Please do not trust the VIN number check. This will NOT work on the 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited Edition 3.7L. If you have both mechanical and electrical cooling, this will NOT work. The electric fan will scratch the mechanical fan. You need a fan with a shroud that lowers the electric fan towards the heatsink and allows more clearance for the mechanical fan. Please check the Dorman product. Thank you Shaheen

Works but is noisy

Fits 2003 Jeep Liberty but is already noisy, by day 4 you may need to order another. I installed the fan assembly on time and undamaged and it has worked great to date. December 13th 2017. I ordered the part at the end of November and installed it on December 1st, it lasted 13 days and the fan came off the motor shaft and blew a hole in my radiator! I'm so sad . I don't even know what to do now but I wanted to contact you and let you know that the part was defective and caused further damage to
