Get the entire fan assembly

Perfect for a 2003 CRV, but the engine mounts required a lot of elbow grease and paint tongue to remove (yes, they've been 17 years of temperature cycling and years of splattering ). Would save me at least half an hour on a replacement if I went with the entire fan assembly and not just the motor.

Pros
  • All components are new, not remanufactured
Cons
  • Has imperfections

Very easy to replace

Fits 2007 Accord! This product said it didn't fit my car but the one that does is mislabeled on Revain and this one fits multiple uses including my accordion. When I turned on my A/C the car warmed up, checked the engine and it wouldn't turn on as both fans should turn on when the A/C is on. Very easy to replace, drained some coolant, removed the top hose, pulled out and removed the fairing, replaced and reinstalled. I checked the TYC website before purchasing and they confirmed it would work…

Pros
  • OE match, perfectly balanced assembly for easy installation
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other parts

Good value for money

I maintain a fleet of 4 Honda Elements that do about 100km daily return. During the day they run almost all the time and this puts a lot of strain on the fans. When you buy these engines expect them to last about half the time than OEM Denso units. Motors are smaller and not as reliable. However, they are still an attractive offer. Old fasteners are more likely to corrode. Be patient when removing and use pliers instead of a screwdriver if necessary. I've had good luck with a small impact…

Pros
  • Legally compliant with patent license agreements with Bosch/Continental VDO (where applicable) for turbine-like blade and shroud designs that provide added confidence and protection
Cons
  • Hard to tell
