🔧 Upgraded OEM Quality Blower Assembly for Nissan Maxima - TYC 700044 Replacement Review

Fits my 2002 Nissan Pathfinder. The only thing I didn't like was not being able to reuse the latch on the outer plastic cover (part of the original engine) which is insulated to protect against heat contact with the outer part of the engine. That does not fit. I'm not sure how hot the part exposed to passengers' feet or legs actually gets. As long as the engine itself sounds good. I only installed it today so time will tell and I'll try to update this review in a few months.

Fits like the original. My original was failing and making rattling noises in extreme cold (<10 degrees Fahrenheit). The original had some brush left when it was removed, but the inside of the motor was very dusty... I suspect that's not good for the bronze bushing. I've been using the new replacement for over a year and it's still working. My only concern is that even after this time you can still hear the faint hum of the motor (brushes?) when it's running. I was hoping it would go away…

Unfortunately, the loud radio only works until the music inevitably stops and advertising is playing.
