The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't reuse the snap.

Fits my 2002 Nissan Pathfinder. The only thing I didn't like was not being able to reuse the latch on the outer plastic cover (part of the original engine) which is insulated to protect against heat contact with the outer part of the engine. That does not fit. I'm not sure how hot the part exposed to passengers' feet or legs actually gets. As long as the engine itself sounds good. I only installed it today so time will tell and I'll try to update this review in a few months.

Installation without problems

Fits like the original. My original was failing and making rattling noises in extreme cold (<10 degrees Fahrenheit). The original had some brush left when it was removed, but the inside of the motor was very dusty... I suspect that's not good for the bronze bushing. I've been using the new replacement for over a year and it's still working. My only concern is that even after this time you can still hear the faint hum of the motor (brushes?) when it's running. I was hoping it would go awayโ€ฆ

"My car is making strange noises " "Turn on the radio "

Unfortunately, the loud radio only works until the music inevitably stops and advertising is playing. Our R50 Pathfinder's original fan motor sang a siren song, signaling it was time for a replacement. After disassembly, the old part was covered in dirt and black dust, although I changed the cabin filter quite well. It turned out that the black dust was most likely motor brush debris, not the atmosphere. Not wanting to break the riveted plastic and try to find replacement brushes, I decided toโ€ฆ

Works fine on Maxim 1995, but.

The pictures of this fan in the product description are true and very similar to the fan I already removed from my 1995 Maxima. Not all of the blowers listed at Revain that claim to work in my car actually looked like mine, so I settled on this one. First of all, she turned out to be a good substitute. There are some differences between this and the original fan that was on the car when I bought it new. Mounting frame, hole pattern and rotor fit together perfectly, but the motor housing isโ€ฆ
