My S2000 feels like a new car

I didn't know what I was missing until I changed the cabin filter in my S2000. Now the air seems incredibly clean and it's like getting a new car. Installation is easy, although the rubber pad needs to be peeled off. Either way, that's the best $10 I've ever spent. Now I plan to change the filter every year.

  • Durable test results
Cons

Similar to OEM

I have read several reviews claiming this filter is exactly the same as the OEM. This is usually debatable, but in this case I agree. Fits perfectly. Sealing foam all around like the original. For 1/3 the shipping cost I can look for a filter that fits and seems to work just as well as the OEM in this non-critical application.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works Great!: Cabin Air Filter

I contacted Revain about a filter after a local Honda dealer charged $41 for an S2000 cabin air filter. I found it a little rude. After some searching on S2KI, a few people tried it but never verified it. Don't be afraid to buy this, dear S2000 owners! Pros: Cost ($41 or $9, your choice) ----- There are other stores where you can buy an OEM filter for less, but not $9 ($26 I think). conforms to OEM build quality + looks the same as OEMCons: - no

Cheap insurance. for filter

I wanted to rate this product after 1 year. The filter fits exactly, needs some time and possibly an upholstery tool (TEKTON 5873 for removing door panels). Remove the seal closest to the windshield. Lift the plastic cover on the passenger side, underneath is the housing that holds the element. To my surprise, it turned out to be dirtier than I expected after a year of riding mostly on city roads. It works great when it comes to trapping particles. The operation takes only about 10 minutes from

Fits as a spare

Please note I only change my air filter when the air conditioner smells bad for the first few minutes after turning it on and then goes away. I bought it with the expectation that it would remove the smell of the smell. After installing it I expected the smell to go away completely but oddly the smell is still there and I've driven it about 1000 miles. be a filter error. Installation was easy, you pull the old filter out of the cartridge holder and put in the new one. Fits well and doesn't feel

Very Satisfied Best in Cab Air Filter

There's nothing better than this. This is a paper element filter - the Honda paper doesn't look any better than the paper on this filter. Why pay Honda prices. I love my S2000, but I swear Honda treats it like a parts gold mine. As for the reviewer who said the airflow arrow went the wrong way - I tried to pay attention to that but it was pretty clear. Simply place the filter's foam ring into the included plastic case. To be honest, I didn't even pay attention to the airflow arrow and I had…
