🚗 Buick Lacrosse TYC 800149C Replacement Cabin Air Filter Review

We got this filter for our 2013 Buick Verano and it fits well at a good price everything you could want. Replacing the filter in the car was quite a long process as to get to the filter you have to dismantle a decent chunk of paneling around the glove box and it's difficult to get to a number of fasteners. Buick did a poor job of making the filter affordable and now I understand why the store charged $150 to replace it. Thank you for the phone!

I called this item a cabin filter to fit volt, I have a 2012 and for some reason a chevy. decided not to put it in the factory, although there is a place for it. I had to twist and turn but he got in and that's the main reason I deducted a star. It seems to filter well, we had a lot of smoke in the air due to forest fires. It seems to have helped. There seems to be a little less airflow and this seems to reduce the noise coming from the A/V, not too bad overall.

They filter the air fairly well from dust, odors etc. They pass air well as they aren't as thick as some, so in our Volt where efficiency is a top priority it has little impact on power consumption. After looking at some forum posts about the Chevy Volt, I found out that Chevy doesn't put cabin filters in the Volt. At least they installed the air filter box and didn't completely remove it. Bought this filter after reading the reviews. It fitted my 2013 Volt perfectly and took less than 5 minutes to install. I also like the added charcoal in the filter which traps any smells.
